It’s a bird! No! It’s a plane! No! It’s Jet Li using wires to do his stunts! hoho!!!
This movie sucks from start to end. Bad acting, even worse script. In short this movie had elements of 3 different worlds. A storyline of bollywood, a kick a&# action star from hongkong & big moolah production of hollywood.
In the story, Jet Li breaks out of jail to get revenge for his brother and the first thing he does is try to pick up a girl? Where did all that rage go? Where the rest of the movie went is down the toilet. If this were made in Hong Kong with a smaller budget it would have been way better on the action side, and like most Hong Kong movies, the action would have made up for the ridiculous story and acting.
Then this was supposed to be a romantic movie too ....must have been the worse one of last century. I mean the director has no clue what romance means. The least he could have done is atleast shown some nudity of that rapper actress making love to Jet Li :). Wow that would be cool Jet Li in bed with a nigger rapper.
As much talent as Jet Li has I think he takes a back seat to Jackie Chan(RULEZZZ). Its not that I dont like Jet Li , infact I watched his LETHAL WEAPON (another crappy film) where he was the saving grace of the movie taking the thunder out of veteran like Mal Gibson. I think Jet deserves a lot more respectable scripts to act with than what he got so far. The one-sided, comical fights with the black guys weren’t even choreographed very well either. Watch a Jackie Chan movie and you’ll see how comedy can be intricately worked into a fight scene.
I didnt even bother to watch the last half’n hour of the movie , it was that bad & that predictable.
The NFL subplot was such a waste , making it worse was by showing a 20 year old dude with an attitude handling NFL. How the hell do americans take such crap from filmmakers?
