Hello Friends How are you. Thanks for reading & rating my last 5 reviews. Now this one is not a review of any recent or forthcoming movie or an audio album. This one is about a 1998 action thriller movie ’’Ronin’’ which is coming on Star Movies, Friday Night (April 05, 2002) at 9:30 PM.
Actually when I saw its trailors, all the memories of the movie flashes by me. Trust me, it is one of the good original action movies of Hollywood in the category of GodFather(I, II), it’s my all-time favourite movie, I’ll write a very very big review on it sometimes later. Now coming back to Ronin, it stars Macho Robert De Niro in the same sense as in ’’Heat’’, he looks absolutely a mentally and physically strong man, who is out on a mission. The scenes for once are realistic in context, not superhuman in quality. DeNiro brings immediate attention to this film, and a sense of respectability.
The cast from DeNiro to Jean Reno is flawless. Maybe one of the best ever assembleed for a movie of this kind. As I’m writing the review of the film, its story is something about a woman (Gorgeous Natascha McElhone) who assembles a team of professional killers from all over the world to get a hold on a certain case with some mysterious content. The case is in the hands of some ex-KGB spies and there are many people and organizations that will do anything to get it.
After the mission has been completed successfully, the suitcase immediately gets switched by a member of the team who seems to work into his own pocket. The complex net of everyone tricking everyone begins to surface slowly, and deadly... One of the original hollywood action movie with an edge of the seat car chases, the beautiful locales of a city or can say a Hill Station in France, ’’Nice’’. You know, after seeing the movie, you’ll opt more for this kinda stuff. Do yourself a favor and spend two hours watching this movie...
