I recently visited Rourkela and went to see the so called airport.
The airport was mainly used for personal purposes by politicians and administrators during any events at the city.
Otherwise, not much activity in yhe airport.
There was no proper infrastructure and the runway was very small, not ideal for bigger aircrafts.
The security was very little and you can easily bypass them.
The seating area and the bathroom were full of dirt and looked like have not been cleaned in ages.
There was no food stalls or wifi connectivity in the airport.
Accessibility was another msjor problem as the airport was way outside the main city with hardly any bus or taxi service operating.
