WOW and HOW!!

Well, finally the dream has come true..

The legendary qualities of the Bullet have been seamlessly integrated with all that contemporary technology can offer, and RE have showcased the result brilliantly in the Classic 500....

I am a proud and VERY SATISFIED owner of an EnfieldClassic 500 for the second month running, and each day I keep finding excuses to keep riding her on and on...

The fit and finish of the bike is as perfect as can be, chrome levels are of pretty high standard, though I will have to wait and see how it wears over time. Handling is very good, because of the slightly smaller tires, road grip and balance is as good as the earlier versions.

Power is awesome, and this is to be expected due to nearly 30bhp output, but the best part is that the power is muted though always available with a very mild twist of the throttle...What this means is that this beast is very well behaved in city traffic, but roars whenever you want her to..

More importantly, the phenomenal torque has been harnessed perfectly, and thumps in even at very low speeds...you can effortlessly weave thru city traffic leaving all other riders gaping in shock!

I have not crossed 70kmph, bcause of running in reqmnts, but I will be opening up the throttle later this month...Will write in detail bout my xperiences at higher speeds soon..

Suspension is pretty good, the rear gas filled shocks make a big difference, front end is also very precise...so bumps and craters just dont matter.I feel however that the handlebar needs a little more weight as it feels a little light...

Rear brakes can be better, but in combination with the front disc, braking is as good as in all the latest bikes...

Electricals and switches are all upto the mark, though the flash switch is placed in front of the switch unit, and this is not convenient...Wonder why.

EFI works like a charm and I am saving the best for the end....my bike is returning 33-35 kmpl, which I feel is very very good for a 500cc, 28.2 bhp, 180kg machine running in city traffic!!!

Will write later bout maintanance and service, as of now, no issues at all.

Dont even think twice, go for this bike if you can...your not likely to regret it !!and I may add that I also own and ride a Bullet 350 of 90`s mfr, and though I enjoy that vehicle too, I can very well understand in practical terms about the transformation experienced in the 500cc Classic...
