Royal Enfield Bullet Electra 350 Twinspark

Dear Friends,

This is my second review after very long time and I have received good comments for my first review and about 7500 plus readers. Thank you all who supported & read my review.

I owned Royal Enfield Bullet Electra on last 14th Feb, 2013.

How I bought Bullet Electra?

I visit bullet show room and take Electra for test ride and the test ride was truly awesome and well I impressed with bullet 19.9 BHP raw power and of course I feel raw power because I been riding 100 cc economic bike for last 10 years and this bullet ride gives me fresh feel and energy and that made me to buy Royal Enfield Electra.

What is the difference between old and new bullet?

Old bullet

15 years before I used bullet with manual point. Oh! You are asking what manual point is about. well most young riders haven’t heard manual point actually it allows to tune electric power flow(i.e., to set low to max) to spark plug like adjusting air screw for bike performance and better mileage and with that manual point old model bullet was really good in stretch riding and even it could reach 145+ KM top speed easily.

Pros

  • Old bullet can cross 145+ Speed.

  • Old bullet offers you less vibration.

  • Old bullet has super break and stability which gives confident to ride speed & cornering.

  • Can tune old bullet carburetor air screw and replace with max size Jet screw and can easily tune manual point for performance and faster ride.

Cons

  • Starting problem(Not for bullet owners to the new riders?)

  • High Maintenance.

  • Battery is mandatory to start bullet.

New bullet

I been using Bullet Electra for last three years and it is good bike overall.

Pros

  • Maintenance is low.

  • Can use daily.

  • Mileage is better compare to other higher cc bike models.

  • Easy handling like 100 CC bikes.

Cons

  • When riding vibration in new bullet is very high.

  • Breaking is not good as old.

  • Oil leaks are very common.

  • Nuts and bolts loosen easily? due to engine vibration.

  • Speed of this new bullet is max I realize is 105 km/h

  • Gear slippage could happen sometime.

  • Should have to improve in fuel tank cap and side door locks.

Conclusion

I would say personally that bullet is the only bike made for people who would prefer to use long run and love to ride until get old.

And Royal Enfield bullet is not for everyone.
