I am writing this review after owning this magnificent machine for last two years. Before purchase I was in a dilemma whether to go for Classic 350 or Electra, but after taking a test drive I went for the Electra.
I bought this for daily commuting and occasional long drives on the weekends. My daily commute is around 65 odd kms on the busy streets of Mumbai, but this machine never gave me problem. Before this bike I previously owned a Bajaj Boxer, Bajaj Pulsar 180 and now a Bullet.
As per my experience in last 2 years here are some pros and cons.
Pros.
Awesome handling in bumper to bumper traffic conditions also on open road.
Awesome millage 40 kmpl in city like Mumbai.
Reliable.
Joyful ride. Nice riding position gives you more comfort and control.
Wheels looks skinny compared to overall dimensions of bike, but believe me those will provide excellent grip and gives awesome performance(but going to change to little wider one).
Cons.
Poor parts quality. E.g. clutch cable won’t last more than 8-9 months.
Poor paint job had to repaint entire toll box cover due to distortion of paint.
Very bad experience at authorized service station.(Thank god I got a very good bullet mechanic near home?).
Poor horn. Other version like CL 350 comes with dual horn while Electra comes with the single.
