Classic gives its touch even in a test drive

I am very new to the RE family never drove it till 2010 though I have been watching it since my childhood.

Before riding it I had a perception that it is a bike only for big people and always heard about the leaking and average problem, many people have also commented on the stability and the turtworthiness of the bike. It was for the first time I took it for a long trip(friend’s bullet electra 350). I was so amazed with the performance of the bike. It was a road trip to alwar, sariska bhangarh.

The bike was 7 years old but I never felt it that way. It was a shear feeling that you are on top of the bullet top of the world where ever you go people asking which bike is it and looking like they have never seen such bike

before."Gives you a heavenly feeling". I have also taken bullet standard from 1980’s for a drive. I have a personal feeling that if a bike is in the market for 60 years the have to have something special.I feel that these are the most reliable bikes in India who can conquer any terrain and run all day long at a constant speed speed of 80 - 90.

Being said all this the true beauty of a machine can only be known to the one who is in love with it and knows all the needs of it. In simple words the bike will return what it gets from you now it’s up to you how you keep it, "like your girlfriend or your maid".

Guys the technology progress is essential to survive in this world. The new technology always gives you something better over the old one eg consider the cellphone 15 years back the big bulky ones and see them now. So the UCE engine may be new to the RE but it has been tested successfully by the giants like triumph, norton and the BSA. Technology has it own merits and demerits. It has got less wear and tear and more response as there is less transmission loss. I have taken the test drive of the classic 350, 500 and the TBPS and I have felt the throttle response much better than the old bullet.(based on the 1500kms drive on the elctra 350, old). Every change in the new age bullet is cool."But the old still remains the gold" precious forever.

I feel that the classic is a revival for the sinking market of the RE.It is an amazing product. I will recommend all to

go for a test drive of classic 500 as it will give you a mesemerising unforgettable feeling about what the machine is really

capable of. I still have that feeling in my heart even after 2 months. I have booked a classic 350(less maintanence and

more fuel efficiency than classic 500 defenitely >35 kmpl & RE still masters 350 segment)as it is a gem of a bike and and

the most selling bike for RE. Will really miss the fuel guage, RPM meter and a hazard switch on this bike, there should

have been parking lights as well.No comments on the vibration broblem as I didn’t experience anything on the test

drive(took it 3 times). Will see when I have my bike.Although it wsa one of the costliest indian bike RE has again

raised the price to 1, 21, 600(onroads Delhi for classic 350)& 1, 52, 000approx, 1, 56, 000(classic 500, desert strom)

This beast should never be compared with Karizma, cbr or pulsar as the purpose, manufacturing, reliability are extremely different from a bullet.I bet none of the bikes can give you a life of RE bikes.I am in love with the bull from the time I rode it for the first time. The more I drive more the bike has to offer. It impresses me more and more on every drive.

When choosing a bike go for the bike which touches you more which make you feel for it rather than people’s opinion after all you will be the person to have it. With classic even the worst roads cant stop you!Amazing work done RE! Will see how it runs on highways.

For Bullet "it is always drive not ride as it is more than a car, it more than anything. For Bulleteers: Bullet is a machine that live "in our hearts in our blood"
