Royal Enfield bikes are for farmers or milkman?s as its design matches the Rural class people, the company thinks they have made the Indian Harley Davidson but they forget the Harley has progressed along with time and changed its design and engine to match different categories. It is very sad to see that they have not implemented change in their style and design accept for few models like bullet lighting and thunderbird which they wanted to make cruiser bikes but did not fit the class.
No doubt the other Enfield bikes are comfortable and quite powerful but they have forgotten many issues like broader tiers, heavy v-twin engines good lightings, different designs and color shades, leg positioning and seat comfort etc.
Lots of R?n D? is needed and a complete revolution in the designing is important.
I guess the company is not willing to take risks in the changing of design and engine shape because they might have to invest a lot and they don?t want to spend in doing something different for their age-old customers, and that is not fair.
They don?t take the initiative about this because at present there is no competitor in this price range and class but once any company will launch a bike in its competition than drastic changes will come in the company.
I am eagerly waiting for that moment to come.
