I am an owner of Royal Enfield Classic 350. I am riding it for 2 and half years, covered 26, 000 kms. Here I am sharing my experience about the bike. I really love this bike even though it has a slight vibrations on the handle bars and mirrors. But the main problem that is disturbing me is not the vibrations as I am used to it, but its maintenance costs. Some parts of the bike needs to replaced for every service. Till now I have changed swing arms, back shock absorbers, riders seat, chain, rear mirrors, amp meter, etc. Oil leaks from engine is another main problem that I have no idea how to solve. The leakage still continues even after the application of gum many times. Above all, servicing the bike through Authorised showrooms results in additional complaints to my bike. The workers do not give enough care to the bikes that are given for servicing.
Sometimes I used to have pain on my shoulders and hips. Both the seats are not comfortable for a long ride.
Talking about the mileage, it gives me more than 45kms/L, at a speed of 60kmph for long rides but below 40 kms at short rides. The bike is reliable for long rides but must have a break time after an hour of continuous riding.
The Classic 350 performs good in any road conditions. It has a good road grip also attains the advantage of big back tyres.
Classic models are the best for customising in our own way. The Redditch is an eye-catcher bike. Handling is better than other RE models.
