Royal enfield thunderbird 350 is a huge motorcycle and its definitely is the oldest motorcycle manufacturers in the world .they have a long decades of history and experienced mastered in this field .personally iam a rider I own a thunderbird glossy 350 and its very nice motorcycle I have got .so lets take a look at the spectations. Goods 1) 350 cc engine 2) 19.80 bhp 3) 28 max nm 4) 5250 max rpm 5) 4 stroke , single cylinder , air cooled 6) both 280mm rear and 240mm front disc brakes 7) 19.80 fuel capacity 8) both self start & kickstart 9) rear tyre 120/80/18 & front tyre 90/90/19 10) good cruising position and stability 11) price tag Rs: 1, 59, 000_
cons 1) 19.80 bhp thats so less for an 350 cc engine their rivals e.g bajaj avenger 220 gives 18.80 bhp , 10 bhp less then RE thunderbird 350 but see the engine its just 220 if they built up 350 engine then the bhp will be more then 20 .
2) max rpm 5250 definitely dissapointing one guys again its a 350cc engine shouldnot they tried to give more rpm as again bajaj avenger 220 street have 7000 above rpm
3) not very reaible well if you are riding alone and bike got small problem as tyre puncture its doomed then surely we are not planning to go thousands of miles pushing it.
4) rear tyre and front tyre is small compared to its size . And its tube rival avenger got big flat tyre 140 surely its deal
5) braking is a serious problem well in india we got mixed types of roads . So its very important to get abs kit on our bikes well but RE doesnt offer this feature .
6) putting a front leg guard is a task. its easy to install a front leg guard but after few days of driving people notices that the front mud guard get cranked beacuse of leg guard smashed while driving.Its oviously beacuse RE doesnt consider this option . But we want our bike to be safe in crashes . Isnt
Other then its a wonderful motorcycle .i always stay in chance to ride it .
