A reliable machine

I own a Thunderbird 350x for last couple of years, which I bought it used from a Seconds bike dealer in VV Puram, Bangalore. The following are my reviews

a) Design is subjective; however, I love its road presence. Even other Enfieldians observe this 350X.

b) Handling – Initially I felt its heavy, but I’m used to it.

c) I love its Carburetor engine and I learnt how to tune.

d) I love the way it cruises on highway at 85-90 kmph and the mileage it returns.

e) I love to cruise and keeping 15% speed as buffer just for overtaking and this machine provides this.

f) Maintenance – I get my bike services from authorized RE service center and I tune the Carb as per my need

g) Vibration – This somehow never annoyed me since I never rode this bike over 100 kmph, usually at 90 kmph.

h) I’m old school and always trust tried and tested engineering and technology, so in case of fuel gauge, I always keep checking the proven way not completely reliant on fuel gauge.

i) I once rode Classic RE and I never felt as comfortable as Thunderbird and once cruised over 3 hours without a break.

k) There are missing issues in BS4 carb engine but I’m living with it hence I get this bike services every 6 months and tune the carb

l) Never done any major mods, just vinyl wrap on tank and side panels, a standard hazard blinker and a back seat rest

I have uploaded those on my youtube channel “Hallu Rider” as well.
