WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Thunderbird 500X is a new bike and an addition to the thunderbird collection. There are no Mechanical changes. Same Chassis, Suspension and the same engine as the other thunderbirds. Power- 27.5 bhp, Torque -41.3 nm .Same weight as the original thunderbird. It’s the first royal enfield bike to have company fitted alloy wheels and tubeless tires. The handlebars have been replaced by new Flatter handlebars. The handling is now easier and it feels a lot more nimble. The handlebar grips have been revised as well although the switch gear is the same. There is a problem with the new mirrors not being big enough and the handlebar having a bit of a reach making it troublesome for people with short arms. The split seats have been replaced by a single unit which enfied calls a gunslinger style setup. The seat is more firm and comfortable than the previous one. The bike has almost been blacked out. The metres have changed, and there are some blemishes like exposed connectors and wiring. The edges of the fuel tank are jagged too. With an increase in the price, it is a good choice as there are maybe some mistakes with it but all the good parts really cover it. So, I’m going to recommend buying the new Thunderbird 500X.
