I had similar experiences as bigbha(the previous reviewer). We were persuaded to get a holiday for 7nights in the same resort for Rs 3000/-. The resort has many apartments. We were given a room on the 3rd floor(no lift) of the most cornered apartment. The room was not clean. The furniture was broken. The cooking equipments were not working and the bathroom was not luxurious. We felt as if we have rented a house and we need to clean it.
We were given some sachets of tea/coffee and sugar(the 1 rupee sachets). Once, consumed we requested for more. We were bluntly told that such things are complimentary and provided only during arrival. We said we will pay for it. Even though, they were not willing to provide more sachets.
The restaurant is costly and do not provide variety. The pool was average.
There are no other restaurants around this restaurant. You have to travel at least 5 kms for any other restaurant.
In the presentation, the staff took us to Royal’s Hathi Mahal resort claiming that once we take the membership, we can choose any resort to stay in. Hathi Mahal resort was beautiful but then we lost our interest.
The presentation was too dominant and we were treated like kids.
I would not recommend Royal Goan Beach Club benaulim to anybody.
