In short, this is a corrupt, badly managed timeshare. We have had nothing but bad experiences with them . not one positive experience.
My husband and I were honeymooning in Goa a couple of years ago. We were approached by a gentleman on the beach who had us play a little game. Being on vacation, we thought why not . so we played and lo and behold we won! We won a gift certifcate for a 2For1 Cruise but were told we had to go to the resort to claim our prize. We smelt something fishy(other than the sea) and said we were not interested anymore. The guy insisted and said he would loose his job if we did not go with him because his job was based on getting people to visit the resort. We actually felt sorry for him and said okay as the resort was a stone throw away so why not.
We got there, and were approached by a guy named Jamie. He started off very friendly and gave us big talk on Goa and the resort. We saw where this was going and said we had to leave. He insisted on us staying because he had to show us some interesting stuff. He got his manager Matti involved. They just would not let us go. We were on a secluded rooftop with just resort staff and we were a little intimidated by our surroundings so decided to just stay and listen to his crap. Seven hours later we bought a timeshare. I have to say that they actually started getting rude and insulting when we said we did not have the money to spend on the timeshare. They brought the price down and convinced us. We were naive and this proved to be the single biggest mistake of our lives.
Our experience with this company has been horrendous. They are rude and lack any sort of customer service skills. We are from the U.S. and are just not accustomed to such rudeness in the hospitality industry. From reading the other reviews, a few people mentioned they felt that staff were rude to them because they were not white. Well, we are white and they are still rude to us! It’s impossible to reason with them. The management fees keep increasing. You get no value for your money. They will charge you a fee for every little thing. They are not at all forthcoming with their policies. The resort itself has just a handful of well-kept rooms. The rest are garbage.
I really hope people read these reviews before considering spending even$5 on a place like this. I would hate to see anyone else’s money wasted on such a corrupt organization. You’re better off giving your$5 to a panhandler. I wish there was a regulatory agency that dealt with scammers like these people. But for now, spreading the word will keep companies like this from ripping off more people.
