I had used the services of Royal Packers to ship my 11 nos. boxes containing household items from my residence in Powai, India to Cary, USA on 15/10/2009.
Firstly, their representative estimated my goods to be not more than **100-150 Kgs and told me that it would cost me around Rs. 40, 000-50, 000 max. But they just gave me a lower estimate to get my business because I ended up paying Rs. 76, 000/- and that too after discarding some 100 Kgs of my household stuff.
They said that my boxes would reach me within 3-4 days as they use air cargo but my I received my boxes in one months time and that too in 2 installments.They used poor packing material and instead of using crate they used parcel service to ship my boxes. They actually packed my expensive Harmon Kardon Amplifier and Sony CD player in one box on top of each other without any padding and covered it only with a thin bubble wrap because of which both my systems got damaged beyond repair. Most of my crystal glassware, crockery, souvenirs etc. was also damaged because of the poor packing and handling
Please keep away from this company.
