I flew Royal Jordanian last week from Moscow
via Amman to Delhi and return. Firstly I would like to say
India
is amongst the nicest places on earth! Back to the flights, Moscow
to Amman was
delayed by half and hour due to bad weather then the crew presented each
passenger a voucher valued at 20 US dollars to buy anything they desired from
the airport. Upon entering the aircraft the crew were extremely apologetic about
the delay even though it wasn’t their fault. The in-flight entertainment was
good with personal screens for each passengers offering a wide variety of
shows, food was great with 2 proper meals and a snack on this 4 hour flight.
First meal we had a choice of Chicken, Fish or a vegetarian option and for
supper there was a choice of Chicken, Fish and beef. Finally for the snack we
had the option of rice or a sandwich, with the portions in each meal huge. The
crew were very attentive on the flight. However upon arrival at Amman Airport
I noticed that the ground staff weren’t as pleasant as the flight attendants.
Flight to Delhi
onboard a nice A340, but didn’t have personal televisions but the flight went
smoothly with another good crew and nice food. Return was wonderful as I was
upgraded to Amman from Delhi due to overbooking. Overall a very good
experience, with a truly good airline.
