I made a mistake of purchasing some items (garden chairs and coffee table) from Royal Oak, Banaswadi. At the time of delivery I noticed that the coffee table was a defective piece. The delivery guy tried to force the item upon me, but I didn’t oblige and sent it back. They promised a proper delivery the next day itself. However the delivery did not happen for the next three weekends (I had asked them to deliver only on weekends). All these while I was getting assurance from different "managers" that the delivery will happen immediately. Some days they even said we will deliver within one hour or that they are on the way and so on.
I am however glad that I didn’t purchase any large value items from them (which I did, later from another shop). Do I recommend Royal Oak to anyone? - NO, definitely not. I will make sure they never get business from anyone I know.
