We went to a Royal oak showroom in banaswadi, where we liked the elegant shiny white sofa which was priced low at 54000/- in offer. We got to know that item is sold out and thats the only piece, when we enquired about the product with one of the sales executive there. We started enquired the same item in all royal oak showrooms and finally one showroom in Kammannahalli promised us to deliver same sofa and we didnt confirm till picture sent to us through whatsapp. We confirmed the booking the same item priced at 73, 000/- by paying advance 1000/- and we got the calls from Hemant sales guy from Hemanth about the product availability.
He pushed us saying that item is on demand, please pay entire amount otherwise we will sell it to other customers. We asked for the item to show, but it was in the warehouse not in the shop, we will deliver it to your house. I trusted and paid the entire amount. Item is delivered and installed by technician without showing the item first. We were disappointed by seeing dusted pale greenish ivory color( the cheap colored sofa leatherrete which can be found easily in any shivajinagar shops) instead of elegant shiny white color.
When approached the Hemanth from sales team, they promised to come back with alternate options, but he didnt come back. He was not even responding to the calls, finally he answered when I called from the other number and mentioned head office was abusing him for not convincing customer care and has provided contact details to contact customer care executive Kalpana. She is convincing us there wont be any replacement options as it is mentioned in bill, though we mentioned we can wait till that particular item availabilty . Royal oak are not convincing customers with out worrying about the customer satisfaction. Royal oak cheated us with out showing the actual item which is cheap dirty dull pale colored. Now Im feeling I could have bought it in the local shop there in Shivaji or Banaswadi where it can be half the price. Few questions to Royal oak,
They mentioned that item is on demand, why cant they sell it to others who is interested?
What did Royal oak do if I would have ignored without paying entire amount? Do they item in show room forever?
Does Royal oak thinks convincing helps you instead of satisfying customer?
Why they allowed to have royal oak showroom if they dont the place to keep the item to showcase?

Photo 2 is the one that is delivered to us. I dont understand how customer relation manager not able to differentiate between these two pics. Customer dont know the model, they just expect what they see. Royal Oak are cheaters
