A Heritage hotel in the midst of a Garden.

Guess all of you have seen theworld famous BrindavanGardens in all its gloryat night with its lighted Musical fountains, here is the catch it’s even betterin the mornings. Imagine this, you wakeup in the morning and open the balcony and the beautiful Brindavan in stretchedin front of you. What do you have to do get this? Well, shell out a lot ofmoney.

This was a great experience, we had the best room in thehotel(201 or you can go for 101 or 301), it’s the corner room, try to get thisif possible. The room was in heritage style, quite huge, with wall sizewindows, a mini bar and all the regular stuff. Like I said the balcony openedto the Gardens, where you can have your “in room” lunch, it’s quite an experience.

You can check out the gardens in the evening(will be a bitcrowded) and don’t miss the musical fountains a must for someone who has neverseen it before, the fun begins the next day morning, the garden was totallyempty there was a light fog, we went for a walk(as romantic as it gets) itsquite a long but pleasant walk to the lake and back, once back in the hotel youcan check out the small swimming pool or the Kerala style Spas.

Food was a mixed bag, we had ordered a Tarkari(Veg) Biryaniand cream soup, which was quite nice, but the sandwich that night left a lot tobe desired so did the tomato soup. The buffet breakfast was excellent though.

On the down side, the cable was not working, and we didn’t bother to have it repaired as were not really interested.

But at the end of one day it’s quite monotonous(not to mention, expensive), so a one day trip would be definitely worth it.
