Worst after-sell-service

THE PRODUCT


While searching the Royaloak products on their website, a concept was created in my mind that all products are being manufactured by Royaloak. I purchased ( from Royaloak showroom, Jessore Road, Kolkata ) a two seater recliner & two rocking chairs. when the products were delivered to my house I found the truth. All products are manufactured in China or Vietnam or in other countries. Royaloak is marketing the products. But I do not have any problem regarding the country of origin. Product can be from anywhere, If the quality is good then no question about it. Initially, the quality of the product seems to be good, after usuing certain times I can tell the whole scenarios regarding quality.


One thing I must tell that compare to other furniture companies ( e.g. Damro, Godrej etc.) the product variant is more & more in Royaloak. If you visit Royaloak showroom in Jessore Road, Kolkata you will find variety of products. Sells personnel Mr. Kanchan Marik was also good.


AFTER SELL SERVICE: MOST PATHETIC & OBJECTIONAL


In one word, I found worst after- sell- service. I found the back of one rocking chair damaged. Packing quality is not good. There should be good reinforced support from inside of the corrugated box.


I purchased one two seater recliner sofa ( Lara ) & two Trinity rocking chairs on 15/09/2021 with cash ( Rs 69000 ). They delivered two boxes on 24/09/2021, 09 days later. I asked the delivery persons whether three products are in two boxes. They said, yes you will find three products in two boxes.


After that, I was waiting for installation as well as unboxing. The fitters ultimately came on 08/10/2021, almost two weeks later.


While unboxing on 08/10/2021 by the fitter named Kaji, I found two products instead of three. The back of the rocking chair also found damaged. I called Mr. Kanchan Marik of Royaloak showroom and informed all the matters. I sent all necessary photographs (through WhatsApp) to him also. One thing I should mention that I myself postponed installation for 2/3 days in between as I had gone for outstation.


After that till today no positive action has been taken by Royaloak authority to fulfill my order and replace the damaged part.


This is like the practice of government office, fulfilling customer’s need & demand leisurely which is not acceptable.


I am writing thoroughly so that other customers would be awakened from the fact.
