I stay in the neighbourhood and thus always avail facilities of the hospital. My personal experience always was good. Sometime back, I was under Dr.Sugata Deb & Dr. Tapas Roy for surgery procedure. Excellent experience! Earlier my wife and daughter were treated as inpatient but there had been no complaint.
However, this time when my wife was admitted for treating a L1 compression fracture - I discovered an altogether different culture. The Ortho Doc under whom she was being treated was rude and arrogant. When he found out that we’re reluctant to have surgery procedure - of which he was most insistent - his behaviour became worse. He did not show any courtesy to the lady patient and threatened to forcibly remove catheter and send the patient packing at the odd hour of night.
In discharge report he asked to see the patient in OPD or through video consultation after 14 days. Since my wife is not yet fit to walk, I requested for a VIDEO consultation. However, after hours of waiting I was refused of the video-consultation. Thus, I revise my rating and certainly I do not recommend the hospital for orthopedic treatment. The double occupancy room provided at the surgical ward was not good and the nursing staff were not attending the patients in time.

Apropos to the review above, I like to inform that RUBY HOSPITAL took cognizance of the matter and contacted me personally. A doctor was sent to my residence alongwith a nursing staff. The patient was examined thoroughly and medicine was prescribed. The Doctor was really nice and friendly.
Indeed, I appreciate the gesture on the part of the hospital management and this reassures all of us and has rekindled the faith that we had on RUBY.
