We had been to RUH as a team gathering yesterday afternoon. We did not find anything good in the restaurant. We were initially given a place where we felt like, were having lunch in desert. The environment inside the restaurant was very hot and there was only one fan to serve the entire place. The plates that were given to us had lot of dust in it.
We could see the dust and showed to the waiter. Initially he mentioned that only one plate might have some dust, but when we cleaned each of the plates with TIssue paper, we could show him that there was large amount of fine dust on most of the plates. May be the Fan will get the fine dust from the Sand "Desert outlook" onto the plates. Please check the plates before the food is served to you.
There was nothing special to mention about the food that was served during the Buffet. There were 3 Veg and 2 Non Veg starters. We did not find anything good in the starters as there was Panner and Allo which was not served hot. Most of the time, they tried to just serve the Aloo as it is very cheap and they might prepare in Bulk.
Even the team did not find anything good in non veg starters too...The non veg items did not contain anything other than chicken as per them. The Nan that was served to us was neither hot nor soft. There is no need to mention about the gravy’s that were served in the main menu. The Jeera rice and Biryani did not go well with the team.
There was just 2 deserts which was plain vanilla ice cream and gajar halwa. The ice cream and gajar halwa had converted to kheer by the time it was given to us. Over all it was a bad experience. The cost for this below average meal was 375+tax which comes to Rs.425 per head, which is not worth paying for the service and the quality of food served. It is better we can spend the same amount in BBQ where we get variety of Good food along with welcome drink. Not a good place to spend time with the team.
