Team lunch at Ruh

First of all, the ambiance of the place is great. We got excited after seeing the website. Initially we thought the photos might be different from the actual interior. But they are!

We went with an expectation of Arabian or Mediterranean cuisine. We were expecting all those kababs, grills, shawarmas and all. After a simple googling for what is Arabian food, our expectations grew further more.

To our surprise nothing of all these sorts. It was a regular - I could even say very average food. We got bored with Panneer keep on returning to the veggies and Chicken was the only meat. That now I should say, not a value for money at all.

More over, the buffet was carefully served on to the table. We also got seats outside of the main place. It was all tin sheets and we were feeling little warm feeling. The restaurant work was in progress and drilling and hammering noises were spoiling the romantic mood of Arabian nights.

Taste of food was Less than Average to good. Biriyani was less than average. There was hardly difference between veg and non-veg curries the color and taste were the same, except that chicken was dropped in non-veg and potato or panner in the veg item, that looked rather cheap. The desserts were just some Andra cuisine(sweet pongal kind and Carrot halwa). No icecreams.

Chicken, chicken, chicken we really got bored.

The staff were friendly and attentive.

Must visit for its ambiance but not for the taste, variety or VFM.

R.350 per buffet(+10% Service Tax+ 12.5% VAT)

Suggestions: Please add specific Arabian and Mediterranean cuisine.(rolls, shawarmas, grills, tandoor). Add something more than panneer and chicken.(Fish tikka, lamb curry, a whole lot of veg barbecues can be prepared)
