The film is a murder mystery but the director has presented the film on the demand of the script on the same track. There is a good catch on Atanu’s story and characters, but he did not do much work on the script. That is why the speed of the film is very slow. If the audience does not bind to the story and characters in the two-hour movie, then it will be called the deficiency of direction somewhere. In many films like Aligarh, Manoj Bajpayee, who has become a fan of his acting, seems to be winning his role in the entire film, while Smita Tambe’s silence is a tremendous difference between his face expression.
