It was a Friday morning my day of from Work and I decided to run away
from the humdrums of life to watch RUN - the latest flick. So there I was at
my neighborhood Cinema hall and I was surprised to see a huge surge of
crowd lining up to catch the movie.
Star Cast:
===
Abhisek Bacchan, Bhoomika Chawla, Mahesh Manjrekar, Vijay Raaz.
Synopsis:
===
Before I get into the Story line, let me start of with saying that I have
watched almost all of the movies of Abhisek but he looked completely
different from all of his previous movies, he was dynamic, matured and is
growing in all he aspects as an actor.
The story is of a College Boy called Siddhu who moves to Delhi to
complete his studies and stays with his sister and brother in law (Mukesh
Rishi). Mukesh Rishi brings about a change in his negative role and plays
a very sidha-sadha, honest ordinary man. Abhisek plays a Go-get-her
fierce lover character. Its love at first sight with Bhumika Chawla
(Jhanavi) in a Delhi Transport Bus.
No love-story is complete without any obstacle. The obstacle is in the
form of Mahesh Manjrekar (Ganpat Chaudari). Ganpat is a
Bhai-turned-polotician who happens to be the Bhai (the real brother) of
Bhoomika Chawla. He is very protective of his sister, although the
Director fails to explain why he is so. He along with his team of goons
smashes any boy who even tries to look at his sister. Mahesh Manjrekar
does well in a negative role apart from the last fight with Abhisek.
Action:
=
The action of the movie is a big plus and is relaistic unlike the latest
T3/Matrix inspires Main Hoon Naa. The first action sequence in a Subway
is the one to be watched out for. Then, the next one on a highway where
the fighting keeps going -- as are the vehicles. Abhisek looks great in all
the action scenes helped by the Action Director.
Music:
=
All the songs are quite nice and are soothing for mind. So music is
lovable, hummable and enjoyable.
Show-Stealer:
======
The Show-stealer of the movie happens to be a surprise packet called
Vijay Raaz of Monsoon Wedding fame. He provides the moments of
humour in between the movie. The Cinema hall used to burst in laughter
at the presence of Vijay Raaz, his dialogue delivery were simply superb.
All his comedy scenes are one step ahead of the previous one and they
simply needs to be watched on the screen to experience the fun.
Verdict:
==
Bhumika does well in her tit-bit screen presence. Abhisek has played a
sincere part in every aspect be it dancing, dialogues, actions. Run has
already crossed the Lakeer- the other major release of the Week. Only the
coming Weeks will decide the fate of the movie, personally I feel that it
could be the latest hit of Abhisek which he has been waiting for a long
time.
So go and get a Dekko of the movie, the next movie to watch out for is
Yuva, I have heard that Abhisek plays a negative type of character in the
movie and that would be a treat to watch out for... till then cya all...
