After a few months of its release watched Ajay Devgans Runway 34 on Amazon Prime. The plot as evident from the promos is about a MAY DAY while flying and the investigation thereafter. The film is inspired by a few real-life incidents and is also based on Tom Hanks Sully. However, credit goes to Ajay Devgan and the team for adapting it well to the Indian scenario with suitable changes. Ajay Devgan directs the film quite well and the technical aspects of the film are also first-rate. The performances by Ajay Devgan, Rakul Preet and Boman are fine. Amitabh too delivers in moments but I felt yet again that he was a bit theatrical(personally I feel he is theatrical in most of his films post AKS-2001).In Hindi cinema, we have seen jury/investigation earlier in Ek Ruka Hua Faisal, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and Talwar amongst others and here also the scenes are very interesting. I am not very sure why the film didnt do well but I found it quite well made and enacted!
