These are top 10 my favorite movies of Jackie chan. I cant really pick out 10 bests out his more than 50 movies but I tried my best to pick out them. .Here goes:
number 10 - CITY HUNTER
city hunter.many wouldn’t suggest this as one of not even top 20. but I tell you.if you want some amazing fights .watch this movies.( comes regularly on star movies) . I feel this is the most hilarious movie jackie has ever made.
number 9 - RUSH HOUR 3
This movie is basically about Jackie trying save an ambassador’s daughet and literally saving himself from his wicked brother. he works with an american named carter . This is a hiralious movie with interesting fight scenes.
number 8 - PROJECT - A2
The Supernetent of the police department is on the bad side unknown to others. The general hires Jackie to get rid of the bad guys. When the so called awesome wolf finds out about jackie he fears as Jackie had already ruled out their plan once in project a. A great movie with amazing fight scenes and little humor.
number 7 - DRUNKEN MASTER
A classic I must say. one of Jackies firsts movies that was a huge success.Jackie is insulted and to keep up the pride of his father Jackie learns drunken fighting. His training is crazy and he struggles to learn drunken fighting. There are a series of drunken fights which are unbeleivable .
number 6 - POLICE STORY
Jackie chan’s favourite movie. He performed his most dangerous stunt( falling out 100 feet without protection) and almost killed himself. Great stunts are performed in this movie.Jackie is mostly serious in this movie.
number 5 - Who am i?
This has great fight scenes and amazing stunts in the ending( he slides over a building without protection). Jackie loses his memory after falling of a helicopet which was actually sent to murder him. He gets confused between the good and the bad guys and struggles to find the truth about himself.Brilliant movie
number 4 - POLICE STORY 4: FIRST STRIKE
Have you seen anybody fight with ladders and oxygen tanks? Jackie does! The Russian mafia plans to make some money by nuclear deals and as usual the CIA calls Jackie for rescue! Great fight scenes in Hong Kong and Australia! They have got a cute little koala into scene too.Cool movie.
number 3 - RUSH HOUR
This movie made me laugh like hell. Jackie and carter are made to become parters and unknowingly to each other they know each others languages but never really get it out. Starting with hatred they become great partners and kick the bad guys out of their minds! Great comedy too. They have to save a Chinese ambassador’s 9 year old daughter from the bad guys.
number 2 - NEW POLICE STORY
This has a beautiful ending. absolutely no humor but dashing scenes and fights. Jackie and his teammates fall into the trap and all but him are killed.Unable to forgive himself he becomes a drunkard and with the help of a young police officer he sets out to find the 5 men who killed his teammates for revenge. Absolutely fantastic movie.watched it a lot of times. awesome!
number 1 - RUMBLE IN THE BRONX
My favourite. Full of fights and nothing else! Jackie comes for a vacation to his uncle’s house to america. It wont remain a vacation though! Jackie has 3 things in mind 1- to teach a lesson to the nasty bad bikers 2- to help a lady and her physically retarded brother 3- to save his uncle’s supermarket The movie is full of action as Jackie takes care of all the three things . The ending isn’t that good but it is the only thing that isn’t so impressive! Another classic movie!
