Rustom is a slow movie which gets its grip only in the second half. First half is boring and dragged. It’s in the second half that the mystery is resolved.
Excellent performances by ileana(cynthia), pavan malhotra(investigating officer) and kumud mishra(journalist). Esha Gupta was a show piece in the movie and not required. Tinu Suresh Desai(director) did decent, easy and pretty safe onthe direction. Two songs in the movie are excellent but come out of no where in the movie. Based on the controversies that were hyped on that real incident, the movie doesn’t do justice in terms of depicting that attention. Nothing excellent about the movie.
