I have recently put my 2 kids into Ryan ...the so called INTERNATIONAL school, YELANKHA...Bangalore. We came in from abroad to put up our kids in this so called INTERNATIONAL school and what do have here. The web site gives lot of information abt there great standard . What do we get here? A school with no lights or fans, dirty classrooms, stinking bathrooms, NO STAFF---both teaching and non-teaching. The vice principal not only attends to parents, also updates details on the net for records , also gives tokens , also handles the bus drivers , etc , etc. No teachers for most subjects . One teacher distributes notes for E V S and goes on leave without teaching the lesson.One teacher wants all kids in the class to change there handwriting to what she likes because " she doesn’t like it otherwise"....does it that a threat?? The Mont-2 teachers....I wonder even if they are trained.....One day they do one type of line and the same day the child has to write an alphabet. There is not system of making children practice...to teach them to hold the pencil...to gv them a proper start....its as if the teachers are thr just for a job....ZERO loyalty to the profession. The buses are pathetic...the drivers have no uniforms...buses don’t come on time...everyday issues in school...strike by the bus drivers....etc.....its terrible in YELANKHA. Would you believe if I tell u the cleaners clean the classroom in between the class? There are switchboards with wires hanging out in the school.The school takes money..Rs 1000 + for stationary...but the child has to do everything at home...that means you buy your own stuff at home also and keep....MONEY MONEY MONEY....just for the name INTERNATIONAL....But an absolute shame and waste....Have to wait a full year now to move them out of Ryan....BIG MISTAKE.
