I am an ex-student of Ryan International - Kundanahalli. I did my class 6 - 10, there. I strongly recommend that if you try some other school for your ward. Corporal Punishment exists in the school
- For not bring an ID Card - I was beaten with the tag ( you know the rope you put around your neck, to wear an ID)
2.There are teachers that beat children just because they do not submit a note book on time etc.
- Personally, I have seen the principal (Prashant Fernandes) pulling kids hair, twisting some ones ear.
Teachers
In ICSE the teacher to student ration can go high as 1:45
In IGCSE, (class 10!) For about 4 months we did not have a french teacher!
Similarly, we didnt have a geography teacher for a long time!
There is a high teacher attrition rate....probably because they don’t pay well
Some teachers are under qualified for the job!
Results in the school aren’t to great either
Malpractice exists in the school!
Christianity is heavily preached... There is no sense of secularism.
Example: A few years back people from place came about... and were talking about The Book of Hope. There was a huge commotion about this...
It went to the extent of People burning pictures of the management, and jesus!
I read a post saying that we get a computerized bill.... No way here we get a piece of paper with someone’s writing...
The school does not Refund the Security Deposit !
The fees are pretty high - compared to the infrastructure!
There are above 5000 people in the school!
Its so tiny!
Administration is very poor.
All are lies - for IGCSE they said air conditioned class rooms, yet for a year they charged so much but no A/C
Its all political - There are pictures of Sonia Gandhi in the school, but no pics of Mahatma Gandhi..
There is no drinking water in the school....
Bathrooms usually have no water.
All in all... the whole school is very mis managed....
