At the outset, let me congratulate the entire Indian cricket team for winning against top side South African cricket team. Such victories are rare for the Indian cricket team and hence all the Indians are celebrating this victory. Incidentally it was SREESANTH who played a major role for the Indian victory as also very well supported by other members of the Indian cricket team.
But there are some points to be noted.
Consistency required. The first test victory by India is over and the 2nd Test is going to start by the end of this month. Can the Indian team show the similar consistency and win the 2nd Test. It is a million dollar question. Let us wait and see.
Sreesanth should control the emotions reduce it by 30% so that he gets 100% pay. It is easy to say but difficult to do it for Sreesanth.
I think V.V.S. LAXMAN, SOURAV GANGULY, ZAHEER KHAN, ANIL KUMBLE should be in the Indian cricket team till the end of World Cup 2007.
I am willing to offer my consultancy to the Indian cricket team for its success. My ideas in internet websites have been implemented by the BCCI in Indian cricket and I am happy to see lots of improvement in all areas. Still, for winning the World Cup, Indian cricket team should consult a good Wizard in cricket.
South African cricket team is going to play a powerful 2nd test and I want to challenge that it will take lots of more efforts by all the team members to win the 2nd Test. My rating is 40% for India and 60% for South Africa winning chances.
I have to congratulate Greg Chappel, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Sreesanth, Dilip Vensarkar, Sharat Pawar, Zaheer Khan etc. etc for their winning the first test against the mighty South African cricket team.
