It?s more of a talent show to test the ability of the melodious singers who take part in the show. Sa re ga ma pa is always started by the ever humble, Shaan singing a track, which is requested by one of the members of the audience. After the tuneful song, Shaan welcomes the viewers and introduces the participants and then the judges.
Ever since the beginning of the show, the rounds have been changing. One of the rounds can be of the songs of the participant?s own choice, and the round in which the participants sing duet songs. Another one of the popular rounds is the ?judge?s choice? round. The rounds are altered frequently and so are the themes of this show.
?Sa re ga ma pa? started off being open to anybody who had the talent to reach to the show but as it went on to more specific themes like ?Golden Voice Hunt? where some semi-finalists and then finalists were chosen and after that, the big winner. Another one of their themes was ?Popular Choice Series.? The show even invited the singers who have had a streak of winning episodes before. They revisit the show and make it even more entertaining to watch.
The fun-filled and enjoyable show is an excellent medium for the budding singers. It?s a stage for them to express their talents. In other words, Sa re ga ma pa is a fabulous entertainer as well as a way of reaching out to the world and showing off your talent.
