A movie which can remind you of *Chak de India* but Madhavan is way more brutal than Shahrukh. A boxing coach, who loses his boxing career because of the internal politics, picks up a fisherman’s girl and makes her the champion. World champion!
Adi isn’t in good terms with the selection personnel and so is transferred to Chennai. He couldn’t find a single boxer special enough to be a boxer. But then he sees Madhi at one of the matches, fighting with the judges; and instantly selects her to train under him.
He trained her personally using his personal finances when required and did everything needed to take out the best in her, even a resignation, when asked so. And rest is the story!
R. Madhvan portrayed the madness perfectly. He looked a psycho sometimes but in the end all that mattered was his training and the *master stroke* at the right time.
