The backdrop of the movie begins in the beautiful island of Mauritius( which has been used a horror prop in the movie).
The story revolves around the horror mystery of much cliched Hindi film cinema’s damsel in distress. In the movie, our damsel Shirin(Sonarika Bhadoria) plays the role of a singer in the plushest clubs of Mauritius. While she is a fantasy of every man who visits the club, a dark secrets keeps her away from the men who pursue her in their hope of having their next amorous conquest. One such fan of the Shirin is a businessman named Abhay(Rajneish Duggall) who falls for her mesmerizing beauty . Without any further ado, he goes on to confess his love for her. However, Shirin decides to stay aloof fearing the harmful fate that awaits her beloved.
Playing the typical hero, he promises to fight against the supernatural forces who are a threat to their relationship
But there are some other questions that need to addressed
How will Abhay deal with the horny ghost Who gets upset when any human tries to usurp what he belies is his property?
And how will Abhay pull her out of the haunted power that she is trapped by?
These two questions mainly forms the crux of the story which would be a spoiler if revealed( for those who plan to watch it) in the review
To sum up the review, saansein tries to thrill the audience with the suspense but fails in doing so because it falls into the trap of choosing the hackneyed route
