SAATHIYA as it’s name suggests is a typical love story but with a difference.The movie is about Suhani(Rani)and Aditya(Vivek)who first meet each other at their friend’s wedding.Aditya falls in love with Suhani and proposes her, at first Suhani refuses and tell Aditya to go away from her life.But when he goes Suhani realises that she misses him immensly, so they again meet each other and decide to marry secretly as they are having the so called status problem.They marry secretly in a temple and tells about their marriage to their parents when they wanted Suhani to be married to an other guy.Suhani starts living with Aditya happily but after some time they started having the same ol’ fights.One day Suhani sees Aditya embracing a girl and she suspect Aditya for having another affair but shortly she comes to know that the girl was Suhani’s own sister and Aditya was trying to console her.She feels guilty and want to meet Aditya, so she crosses road hurrily and suddenly...
she was in hospital and Aditya came to see her.Suhani gets out of coma and they both were happy that they were sorry.And here the movie ends!
I liked the movie but I think Shaad ali ended it abruptly.The end was nice but not nice enough..Anyway Shaad Ali’s film is great as it is his debut movie.Some of the scenes are shot excellently in the movie which was not expected from a debut director.
Vivek Oberoi’s acting is very well but Rani didn’t acted well in the last scene coz she was coming out of coma but she didn’t looked like so, Anyways Rani has acted excellently in the whole movie except the last scene.On the whole the movie is a must watch for all those who love change!
