Coming to the terms of reviewing all I’d like to say in a nutshell is that Saathiya is a natural and realistic movie by a superb cast and has amazing soundtracks.
I have seen the movie four times and have enjoyed it to the fullest.Saathiya has turned out to be one of the most vibrant, innovative, simple and creative work from the bollywood film industry.

The movie depicts how natural circumstances in life can lead to complex disasters.Whereas finding solutions to them is another story related to love and trust. Generally every second movie in bollywood is a love story with different angles or may be the same ones. But their main theme doesn’t seem to change. All there is to it is that the couple meets in the end and they always seem to live happily ever after. Its not so in reality. Saathiya depicts reality. It portrays the potholes as against the smooth roads of other similar bollywood flicks.
Cast:
The cast chosen for this movie is apt.Vivek rules the screen all through the movies. Rani bends it in her own way. Their chemistry on screen looks natural with not much make up, simple clothes and superb acting.
Vivek’s eyes and facial expressions say a lot more than his words.Infact he is even better than Shahrukh Khan in the movie as Vivek plays his character but Shahrukh plays himself.
Rani is as smashing as ever.This is one of her best performances. She has played her character with utmost honesty and passion.
Plot:
Well I will not spoil your pleasure of watching the movie(which I highly recommend) by narrating the entire plot. In short the movie is about two youngsters who fall in love, get married without thier parents’ will and then face the hardships of life and marriage. The plot is simple but intense.
Females please carry handkerchiefs, males please behave yourselves, children just go and enjoy the songs. The movie sur does keep one glued to the seat as the sequence of the plot is fantastically set up.
To my opinion its a must see movie for all.
