Soul Mate..

Cast : Vivek Oberoi, Rani Mukherjee,

This film isn’t your typical boy meets girl, falls madly in love with girl and finally after painstakingly searching for her he wins her heart automatically. The story is about Aditya (or Adi) (Vivek) and Dr.Suhani (Rani). Adi meets Suhani at their mutual friends wedding, and its from then that a spark is lit in Adi’s heart. After this, he sees Suhani on the Mumbai rails many times and slowly Suhani starts to have some feelings for Adi. Suhani’s older sister Dina knows about the affair and convinces Suhani that she’s in love with Adi.

The pair secretly get married due to the fact that neither of their parents agree as Adi’s dad is a well renown barrister and Suhani’s dad is middle class.

It is after the marriage that the blissfully happy couple start to have problems. Number one, a rishtaa comes for Dina and at the same time one for Suhani. Suhani refuses outright as she’s already married and from that Dina’s rishtaa also falls through.

Number two Suhani is kicked out of the house, so is Adi. The pair begin to build a small house between themselves and are forced to continue life with each other.

Number three Suhani’s dad passes away causing a further rift between the couple until one day Suhani goes missing ad Adi is stranded searching for her going through many painful moments.

Has Suhani been kidnapped? Has she ran away because she doesn’t love Adi anymore? U have to watch Saathiya to find out.

The film is completely brill and the screenplay is wicked. Songs especially the title song, ’’Oh Humdum Soniyo Rey’’ and ’’Aey Udi Udi Udi’’ are touching.

Rani is stunning, Vivek is charming. A must see.
