Yes, some comments I agree with you. But he can play long innings no doubt about that. He was a very good player before 1998 and after that he is a player not to be watched. He was not a real match winner and for that fact I can’t say anyone from the current Indian Team for that.
Maybe in days to come watch out for Mohamed Kaif. He will be the one and I have no doubt on that.
Coming back to Sachin, Lara is a real genuine attacking cricketer. When I say this I could readily recollect the memories in 1992 world cup against us, 1996 world cup against South Africa (this is one of the best) where he tore the bowling apart! The last two test series in West Indies against Australia. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SACHIN SO DOMINATING THE GAME like Lara did. Lara is a carefree stroke player. He is a player’s delight.
I totally agree with Anuj when he says Sachin is a selfish cricketer. For that I could include some more from my list;
1. Little Master Sunil Gavaskar, The famous 36 Not Out from 60 Overs against England right from opening the innings to the close and
2. Dilip Vengsarkar.
If you guys some more, please list it out.
