Sachin the best

To enlighten everybody with compelling stats which always fades away even though it is true as sun. Though I am a ardent fan of Tendulkar but the following views are not biased. Solely expressed with respect to cricket and its discipline and as a cricket lover.

When we address anybody as a best batsman the only constraints to put for measurements are as follows.

1.Variety of shots owned by him.

2.Right Techniques used while executing it.

3.Improvising Shots.

4.Ability to hit good balls.

Obvious stat will be automatically build

by a batsman possessing these qualities.

Few exceptions are (Lara back foot king but with wrong techniques, Miandad, Steve Waugh, Vivian Richards all have some sort of wrong tech or lack off all the constraints mentioned above).

The only batsman’s I found was Sachin then De Silva (very far).

Only one ball which can tame him (sometimes) is the out swing which is tossed on off step and slightly deviates with a bounce.

His techniques are correct, a forward right hand batsman with right execution techniques even our Rahul Dravid who has been stated as textual batsman is not defined properly. The fault in Rahul is he brings his leg too forward or legs are not placed before correctly that the reason his shots doesn’t carry power. But our big commentators just comments by seeing the forward defense, which is overdone.

Sachin has shown the world all realms of batting but to be stressed here with correct technique. Once he has displayed everything now even if he defoliates, I don’t think and hope so, it may be lack of concentration or body

aliment not due to the ability of the bowlers. Altogether a new ball has to be found to write in the history that this was the only ball, which Sachin was not able to play.

Never before never after, but I wish a new to take birth but no hope as there no realms which are not touched or drawn by the little master.Wins and losses, pressures and no pressures , homeland and alien place are two sides of the coin but right techniques, many techniques, improvishment are the facets of singe man the little master. There not ends sportsman spirit comes when YOU contribute without any greed. He who runs for two runs for whoever in the opposites batsman is going to create a better place as a captain. But as we know this world is habituated to authority means gulami;they like duties to be insisted rather being performed without compulsion.

Let me quote few lines said by others.

First and foremost, Tendulkar is an entertainer and that for me is as important as any fact or figure. Too often boring players have been pushed forward as great by figures alone. For sheer entertainment he will keep cricket alive.’’

Barry Richards in Cricket Talk

’’Neil Harvey, Sunny, all had the footwork and the judgement. With Sachin his stroke off the backfoot, particularly off the pace bowler, is extraordinary-- the next thing you know is that someone is picking the ball up from the gutter.’’

Richie Benaud in Outlook

’’He is a genius. He has a shot for every ball. The only way to stop him is to keep him off strike.’’

Wes Hall.

’’He is someone sent from up there to play cricket and go back.’’

Ravi Shastri

’’Everytime I see him he gets better, his concentration reminds me of Sunny’’

Ian Botham.

’’For Sachin the balance is there. He is quick to complete his shot. He covers the crease much better than mere mortals. ’’

David Gower.

’’I just get the feeling because of his mental strength that Sachin will be definitely the best player of his era and probably the best 2-3 of all time.’’

Greg Chappell

’’Whenever I see Sachin play I am reminded of the Greame Pollock quote of Cricket being a ’see the ball, hit the ball game.’ He hits the ball if the it’s there to be hit. ’’

Ian Chappell.

’’I’d pay to see him.’’

Sir Vivian Richards in Outlook.

’’What we should do is enjoy Sachin’s batting while we can. His wicket will be the biggest prize sought after by every bowler around the world. That has always been the case for batsmen who hold the mantle of ’best in the world’

Geoffrey Boycott in Outlook

’’Sachin is a genius. I’m a mere mortal.’’

Brian Lara in Outlook.

’’Sachin’s a batting genius, on his day he can tear any attack in the world apart, ’’

Wasim Akram in Cricket Talk.

’’He is the greatest batsman alive’’

Martin Crowe.

’’A true test of a captain is how he copes with losing. If he can come out of it without losing his positive frame of mind, he is a good captain, and I’m sure a positive player like Sachin will take this rough patch in his stride.’’

Akram on Sachin’s captaincy
