He does really have talent and mostly plays well but gets bogged down by too many expectations of him .
Sometimes it feels like that Indian team is Sachin Plus 10 extras , Good news is that recent performances show that this may be changing -hope this trend lasts .
He is undoubtedly the best player we have notwithstanding the Ganguly’s of the world . If there is a problem then maybe it is the consistency in preassure situations . Atleast I believe a player at that level has to be able to commit a certain level of performance consistently which by far most Indian players are unable to do .
A winning performance is usually brought about by 2-3 good performances not one which is usually the case with the Indian Team , Sachin’s performance should be one of those a majority of the time .
We also unfortunately have this habit of making a God out of our stars which also adds to the preassure .
