Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has made a complete recovery from hand surgery and cannot wait to return to the Test arena.
Tendulkars left hand was operated on in the United States in April to repair ligament and tendon damage.
The batsman widely regarded as the finest of his generation, had been troubled by the hand since Indias tour of New Zealand late last year.
But he played through the pain in order to take part in the World Cup where he scored 673 runs at an average of 61.20, with one century and six fifties.
At one stage he could not even straighten two fingers in his left hand.
