There can be no true modern player other than Sachin
and it is our privilege that he was born in India.
Writing about Sachin Tendulkar is like writing about a great
talent ie one does not have any adjectives left to describe
about him as a player.
His strokes on the front foot or the back foot are both sure
and stylish. He not only defends but also attacks mercilessly and the poor bowlers have nothing but despair
written all over their face.
In the 1998 series against the Australians he single handedly become a cricket war machine which led to then
captain to suggest that they did not lose to a better team but to a better player.
Modern cricket would not only remember Sachin for his records but also for the fact that he was truly a great cricketer.
