Well I found myself looking for a nice place for dinner in chembur, and thats whem my mom suggested this place. I was fine with it, as long as I got my growling tummy filled??????
So as I knew that the other sadguru outlets where known for their delicious pav bhaji, I orderd as soon as I got a seat last evening. It was totally packed and lucking we got a table for 6 within a minute. The staff is pretty firneldy, patiently suggesting and clearing our doubts. Well actually speaking the place is too cramped up it seemed even though it has outdoor seating, indoor seating and an a/c section. The pav bhaji came and I was very disappointed by the quantity, like it was seriously very very less in the quantity department. I would have to have 4 such pav bhajis to conclude my dinner! And the taste was totally average. There was noting in it worth being famous for, it was quite disappointing. Then I ordered a fresh lime soda. They served a glass of the lime and masala content and then a whole 250-300 ml of soda bottle with it. Well at first it tastes great and refreshing alright, but then by the time you think of finishing the soda in the bottle it tastes just of plain soda, which kind of is bitter.
For starters we ordered a panner kholapuri dry, which just had 11 peices and coated 240 bucks which is really very expensive I guess. It tasted good, with the shezwan sauce and chutny, but it was way too pricy. For main course we ordered panner koiwada and veg patiyala. Their quantity and quality was very impressive. The veg patiyala was basically kind of mix veg with all the vegetables you could think of, garnished with papad. And the panner koliwada was medium spicy gravy with big panner cubes. They offered quite a variety of roties and I tasted the jowar, corn and the normal wheat Rotis. And each of them were quite tasty and soft to chew. Then to conclude we ordered a veg biryani which was tasty as well.
And then today morning I was out on some work and then I noticed that this restaurant is just a stone throws away form that place and sobi found myself here again enjoying some breakfast. I ordered a onion Uttappa and idili wada combo. Not too found of the Idili, I njyed the crisp mendu wada. The chutneyvand sambhar were tasty too. The onion Uttappa was just ?????????? I would have given this hotel 2.5/5 if I didnt visit here for breakfast this morning! The Uttappa was really thick and filled with onions and really really tasty. It was quite a treat and a great way to start the awesome day!
I suggest you guys to improve the quantity of some food items rest all is tasty. May the force be with you??????????
