My name is Rohit Goyal. I am married and I have a diabetic wife who is 5 months pregnant. She also has issues with her kidney swelling. Yesterday (May 20, 2009) at 5:30PM, she was dam serious; I Hired an Ambulance and went to Safdarjang Hospital in “Gyne Emergency”. When my ambulance reached I called someone for help to take her into the hospital by starchier or on the wheel chair.
No one came to help me I did it myself.After waiting 30 minutes I asked the doctor to see her as soon as possible coz her diabetes was out of control. In the morning it sugar was 642 and when I went there it was 40 that is called serious to mother and child both..Doctor was rude to me and was not even listing to me. Doctor told me to wait again..
I waited another 25 minutes. My wife’s situation was getting ridicules. My wife was not even able to move her hands, I saw regular vomiting and I LOOSED MY PATIENCE and decided to take her to the “Batra Hospital & Research Center”. I tried last time with the doctor so that they can still check, doc. was busy in writing something and again she told me to wait (rudely)…
I asked the doctor name she told me “what you will do with my name”. I asked her I just want to know, she DENIED straight away and told me that “I AM NOT TELLING YOU MY NAME DO WHATEVER YOU CAN”. After these things I loosed my patience and I told her that I have my rights to know your name doctor pls give me am getting late.. After my word all the doctors even nurses are came to fight with me and they were pushing me to go outside. They misbehaved with me and my wife. I took my unconscious wife on the road and again no one came to even help the patient who was pregnant…
I again went to the doctor room and asked her name to mark a complaint for the misbehavior and for not doing her duty. This time they called to the security and thrown me outside of the building.I was really Crying outside of a BIGGEST HOSPITAL OF INDIA and doctors were making fun with each other.Now my wife (Deepali) is in the Batra Hospital (5th floor ICU) and struggling with her life because we were late. If this is the way you are helping India then let me tell you that you’re all efforts are meaningless and just a documented stuff. We are spending a lot of money on this project then why don’t you provide perfection??? No management, no fear in the doctor’s mind. I am an educated Person who is asking for the judgment but this is happening with Millions of people who never writes. They don’t know their rights!! I now have wrote an email to Heath Minister let me see if they are doing something or they are dumb
