Very bad experience & bad customer service

I booked a cab for a local outing. The problem I have with this service is two fold:

  1. I got an SMS stating the car details and car number. When the car turned up (Innova) it did not have any registration number on it. The number plate was blank. The driver claimed it was a new vehicle and registration plate was due.

However the number in the registration book did not match the number sent to me by SMS

  1. They don’t explain the ’Garage to Garage’ Km and Hour concept well while booking.  If an 8 hour 80 Km package is chosen you loose 2 things straightaway even before you board the vehicle:

(a) The km is calculated from Safe cabs garage and back to Garage. No one knows where their garage is. They claim it is in MG road. So regardless of where you are in Bangalore your Km starts ticking from MG road as the starting and destination.

They add some arbitrary Km to eat into your 80 KM for to and fro from your house to garage. I ended up loosing 28 km.

(b) the same goes for the hours calculation. The hours start ticking from the garage. So once again they put an arbitrary duration to travel from MG road to your house and back as part of your 8 hours. I ended up paying for 2 hrs for this out of my allotted 8 hours as advertised.

Firstly I don’t understand this concept at all and why the consumer should pay for this garage to garage business. But nevertheless, they should indicate while booking what would be my actual usage out of 8 hour and 80km after deducting their so called garage expenses!

3) I got a call after a week from them stating it was for a feedback call of their service (in the middle of my work hours) . I stepped out of work to speak to this person named Rajesh from Safe cabs.

When I tried to give my feedback the person (Rajesh) was extremely rude and refused to listen to my experiences & feedback.

Instead he kept believing what they were doing is perfectly right. I wonder why they have a feedback process if they cant keep their ears open?
