Bunch of Thugs, only interested in s*cking money

I had my wife’s delivery in Sagar apollo. The overall experience was very bad. They are only interested in s*cking out your money and are least interested in the patient. When my wife’s consultant advised us for a delivery, we got her admitted to Sagar Apollo. On Admission, they were only inclined towards making a Caesarian delivery(C-section will fetch them more money obviously), although all the signs were of a normal delivery. But we insisted very hard with our consultant that we want only normal delivery and NO C-section, otherwise we are ready to take her to any other hospital. On hearing this they agreed for normal delivery and the it went absolutely normal.

Once after the delivery, we got admitted to their room. We checked with our consultant and she advised that we can go home next day and there was no reason we should be in hospital. She also advised that the baby has a little jaundice, which can be cured by keeping in sunlight daily for some time in morning and evening and its perfectly normal.

The hospital doctors told that they will not discharge and keep in observation for 72 hrs(adding room charges to the bill), only after 72 hrs will they do any test and then discharge. After 72 hrs they said that the baby has some jaundice and needs to be kept in phototherapy(phototherapy has heavy extra charges and will add to the bill). We insisted that we want to go home and will come again and get the baby tested for jaundice. On this, one doctor came and started scaring us saying - "If you go now, there may be a problem for baby, the jaundice may damage its brain, you can go home at your own risk" etc. My wife was quite scared and we said ok, go ahead. Then they kept the baby in phototherapy, naked and under intense light. The scene itself was very very horrible, the baby kept crying all the while in phototherapy for almost 24 hrs, the entire skin became black. I have never seen such cruelty and inhumanity just for the sake of money.

All this while a stream of doctors and all kind of so called specialists kept visiting us and did nothing except turn up to the room and ask " How are you,  How is the baby" and after asking this, they will vanish, adding their fees to the hospital bill. The Paediatrician Naveen Benakappa and his wife Usha benakappa are absolute crooks. He comes to the baby after heavy smoking, and does nothing except adding to the fees.

Please stay away from this hospital. They are only interested in s*cking out money from the patients. The doctors there are under skilled and lack experience, only interested in money
