Basic but useful

The (Vodafone) Sagem RC 815 pro is a pretty basic mobile phone compared to some you have got around now, but it does its job!

What the phone can do

It does the obvious - I can make phone calls and receive calls on it! There are also a number of different ring tones on it, and I can also text message on it.

It stores phone numbers. It has other functions as well, such as seeing what my balance is, vibration if I do not wish to have the ringing on, and the keys light up when I use it in the dark. It’s a pay-as-you-go phone, and each time I want to top up, I buy the required amount of cards, and enter the digits on the card into my phone by dialling a certain telephone number.

What the phone can’t do

It can’t send an receive emails. Nor can I get pretty pictures on the small screen, or download certain ring tones from the Internet.

But, although I would like a phone like that, I’m happy with the one I’ve got for the time being! As long as I can send and receive phone calls and text messages, I’m happy!!
