I am from bangalore I had a very bad experience with these fellows. One Mr sumith from sahara packers came to inspect the things and he told he will charge 3300 for the shifting from BTM to Airport Road (just 13 kms)in Bangalore. He told he will reduce the charge in case I feel the work is less after shifting the things. I have asked them to come to shift at 9 o’clock and they turned up at 11. Thinking that they are not going to come (I called atleast a dozen time and they always says they are almost reached), I my self packed everything.
There was very little to pack for them. So I asked for a re estimate for which Mr sumith told its not possible you have to pay 3300. After a bargain he told he will reduce it to 3000 but only after unloading he can compromise. After unloading he gave a bill which was for Rs. 3876. Mr. Sumith and his manager I think Mr. Manoj I called both of them and they started telling that it is with tax and I have to pay the money and dis connected the call. I took Manoj’s manager (debasis) no, that good man disconnected the phone when I called. The sahara ppl cheated me in sense . I called Manoj & sumith again for which they started saying that you should pay else who will face the repucurssions and started threatening me. I paid what else to do.
So please dont use sahara, its better to sell all your goods and go to new place and buy them again.
For my surprise I came to know that other better packers and movers only charge less than 2500 for a similar transfer.
I am cheated and but I dont want you to get cheated. So please be aware
