Mostly in the middle of Purulia town, Near Akash Sarovar Hotel, there was a big and nice pond.That is called Saheb Bandh. It’s really a very good pond and no one can go into the pond, it’s prohibited.At one side, there is a park, ( Subhash Park) , and from the park, the pond looks nicely. I went to the park many times and looked the beauty of the pond. Actually, the pond made the Purulia Town an extra beauty and people can get water supply from this pond. As I know, this was of a rich owner, and now it is under the government of Purulia.
