Great Ambience , forget the rest!

This review is after my 2nd trip once again after hearing much hype. One thing we all must admit - the Ambience of Sahib Sindh Sultan is world class! I wasn’t convinced I should visit this place as my friends and family members kept on telling me it is not worth the money. I spoke to them and said I should give it the benefit of doubt. We Ordered mutton biryani and prawn rice which wasn’t cooked well. It came very late on a saturday afternoon and we were angry with the service. There were too many spices in the biryani. Hyderabad house serves much better biryani at a lesser price. Later on we ordered chicken curry which itself didn’t have any distinct flavor. Worst though was the time required to bring it!

All of us wondered the decor the theme and the lighting was pretty interesting. But the food or starters we ordered were terrible for the price we had to pay. The only saving grace were the tandoori rotis & roomali rotis which were delicious. The roomali roti was great. The curry was pretty ordinary. There are better places to have these curries with more quantity and lesser price. This place was quite a dissapointment. I guess only some of the items in the menu are good. The platters are way too expensive, one would rather visit a 5 star hotel!

Later on we pleasantly surprised after ordering a plate of chicken tikka to find that the chicken tikka was amazing! I loved every bit of it. I am normally quite picky when it comes to eating out as being a chef for sometime myself, I thoroughly recommend the chicken tikka at this restaurant. But think twice if its really worth visiting this place.
